the image name says what i think these things would do
the cube with 4 boxes might be a good battery
wheras the spiky thing might charge the shields, i'm not too confident with the base of that one
maybe a lot flatter, just the spiky head on the base with a very short thing in between
the spidery thing on the next sketch is how i imagine a device for spacefolding / travelling
just one possibility, though, might also be a shield generator
hm nah, shieldgenerator would be more massive
and less omni
i don't quite know what do do with these crystalcones though, but the image came to my mind.. maybe for a bigger more high-tech shield battery ?
or as main energy storage ?
